What Day is it???

Really, I have lost count at this point. I spent last week in Westminster, MD teaching Common Ground on the Hill. This weekend Rick & I spent with our good friends Eric & Lori Rice. They had the Grand Opening to Willow Oaks craft cider & wine. It was a great event, on Saturday afternoon The Martin Family Band played traditional bluegrass style music. Many of the artists who have shown at the Amish style barn in the past came to help celebrate. The bonus is, the art work will stay there. It is hung throughout the tasting room, the farm stand, going up and onto the second floor. If you find something you love just ask the owners or anyone working there to help you. They will ring up the sale along with some of their fine ciders.

Willow Oaks has a large wrap around deck with some tented areas for shade. In the afternoon, the whole side is in shade and lovely to sit with a cool glass of cider watching the cows roaming the rolling hills. Apple orchards are within sight, and the willow oak tree is hanging right by the entrance. It is a sight worth seeing. Come explore, bring a picnic, look at some art and relax into the day.

Rick & I will be around for a little bit on Saturday and all day on Sunday. Monday we are back on the road. Hope you can stop by and catch up before we have to leave. Oh and Willow Oaks is famly friendly and handicapped accessible.
