Downtown ART

Last night was First Friday in December, an evening filled with ART and last night lots of activities. The holidays are in full swing, the lighting of the tree in town center, a parade down Main Street, children singing, tubas playing and ART! The galleries were all holding "Open House" receptions, including The Artful Lawyer. I gave a reductive pastel workshop doing a winter scene. It was great fun for everyone. The gallery provided food and beverages, a beautiful room to work in, plus, before and after the class you could go up to the balcony to watch the tree lighting and parade.

It was a cold and windy night but we were warm inside creating our snow scene. What a lovely way to spend a Friday night! I hope everyone had as wonderful an evening as I did. Here are a couple pictures, more can be found on FB, along with today's ART Off The Wall album update.

View from the gallery, looks a bit like our paintings except no snow.
