Difference In A Day

Woke up Monday morning to 16 degrees, snow on the trees, ice hanging from the windows. Tuesday it is already 55 degrees and some snow on the ground at higher elevations but pretty much gone from the tree branches. What a difference a day makes.

Drove through Rocky Mountain National Park this morning and will go back again this evening. Saw some wildlife: mule deer, elk, turkeys, magpies, ravens and other birds too quick to identify. One magpie photo will be a painting.

One more day for the workshop, continuing to work in graphite pencil on shading techniques with Robert Caldwell. Great group of people, wonderful art developing, artists talks on the business of art and ending tomorrow with the instructors cooking dinner for the students.

Here are a couple photos from yesterday to today.
