Red - White - Blue, our colors, our flag. While visiting the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ, we had an opportunity to not only see some of our past but to talk to a survivor. Richard B. Bushong, Colonel USAF Retired, he flew B-17's from WWII to Viet Nam. He spoke of the different planes he had flown, the missions he had been on and the friends he had lost in battle. He recalled times when he was the lone survivor. He shared a time when he and his crew had leave, while others flew their plane and did not come back. Colonel Bushong, wrote a book documenting his life and losses while he served our country. Today we honor our colors and remember those we have to thank for preserving the flag.

Here are a few pictures from this special building honoring those fallen men and women of the 390th Bombardment Group.
