What's Going On...

What's going on, lots and lots of art, as you know we are still rolling with the 30-30 challenge. Some days are much easier then others. Coming up this Sat., Jan. 25th from 10 - 5, I will join the Artists of Scottsdale Ranch at the annual show & silent auction. Located at the Community Center right on the corner of 100th St. & Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. If you are in town come on by and see us, rain or shine, from the looks of it should be mostly sunny and mid-70's.

The 20 artists that are in this show donate original art work for the silent auction. There are two that we donated work for: Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center and Maricopa County Animal Control & Rescue. There will be some great deals on art work to be had, some have minimum bids, some do not, you could walk away with an original painting for less then $50.00 and 100% of the money goes to the charities.

Shortly after this show I will again open my studio for - you guessed it - paper making. Starting Thursday, Jan. 30 - 31 & Feb. 1 - 2 from noon to 4 PM. My studio will be set up for recycled paper making. The fees are minimal and if you purchase anything from the studio, anything at all, prints, books, or framed originals the fee is waived. For one day of paper making cost is $30, two days $55, three days $80 and all four $100. Each day I will introduce the basic techniques on making paper, plus each day a new/different technique to include with your paper making. Super Sunday Feb. 2nd 50% of the fees will go towards scholar ships for art students. Space is limited so if you would like to come by please e-mail me at:

Today paper work, getting tax stuff ready, making post cards, packing art to ship and organizing for the show this weekend. What's going on today is the business of art and with a little luck we might get to paint a little too!

Jan. 25th - 10 - 5
