Back Stage

Well, we are into the back stage operation of art shows. Panic has set in, everyone is madly working on last minute framing, making inventory lists, checking them twice and planning what days to do what and yet it always comes together in the end.

Friday, October 25th, we will be all set up for Fine Arts in the Valley @ Country Pleasures Farm: 6219 Harley Road, Middletown, MD. We open the doors at 11:00 am. The show goes for two weekend so if you can join us the first weekend, do try to come the second. It is a beautiful setting, the fall colors are popping, the sun will be shining according to the ten day forecast. Plus, there will be lots of new work created by our artist: me - linda harrison-parsons, Marilu Tousignaut, Homer Yost, Sarah Simpson & Tracy Tousignaut Reed.

Back stage is also an opening to what is the back story to why a piece of art was created. What was the reason, the inspiration, or the motivation. What keeps an artist working. We will be there to share our stories and techniques if you really want the details. Come on out see what's new and enjoy the amazing views of the oldest organic farm in Maryland.
