A Walk with Friends

As the weekend was coming to a close Rick & I drove up to Sedona area with friends John & Kim. It is warmer this season making it very comfortable in Sedona. We took a walk by Oak Creek, in the sun it was lovely, in the shade it felt like it dropped a good 20 degrees. So, it was good to keep moving. I had camera in hand and found some lovely trees and roots that I just had to have photos of, the sun was hitting the canyon walls and reflecting into the creek. It was a wonderful way to spend the day.

Tomorrow I plan to take some of this inspiration and work on some sketches of roots and trees for a future project. Until then here are some photos from yesterday walk in the woods.
